FileVault — Integration

Overview

Store and deliver ProjectBoard media safely—images, brochures (PDF), and update attachments—using signed links, permissions, and versioning.

Capabilities

• Attach images and PDFs to projects and updates via the FileVault picker

• Visibility-aware access control (public vs customers-only vs internal)

• Signed delivery links with expiry and download tracking

• Optional thumbnails and media metadata (size, type, hashes)

• Retention rules and delete/restore workflows (policy-driven)

   In ProjectBoard, open Settings → Integrations → **FileVault**.

Limitations

• Large uploads depend on workspace storage quotas and network conditions.

• If a file is deleted in FileVault, ProjectBoard retains only the reference and will show it as missing until restored.

• Some formats may not have thumbnail generation enabled by default.
