How does it notify customers when an update is posted?

ProjectBoard emits an update event. occupancy-core (or any listener) resolves the audience and notify-center/email-hub deliver messages.

Can I publish public and customer-only updates?

Yes. Each update can be public, customers-only, or internal with separate visibility rules.

Where are images and PDFs stored?

All files are stored in file-vault with permissions and signed delivery links.

What events can other apps subscribe to?

Projects.* and Updates.* for create/update/publish, plus attachment add/remove and visibility changes.
